Geysir, Gullfoss, Pingvellir, Laugarvatn Fontana Spa today

Drove out of Reykjavik to visit a few attractions:

Geysir and Gullfoss were nice, but crowded with tourists;

Pingvellir National Park is amazing: fall colors are prime, it's the place where the Vikings created the island's version of a Parliament in the 900's, which is a nice way of saying that here's where the Vikings met to bash each others brains;

Laugarvatn Fontana Spa is better than Blue Lagoon: natural geothermal steam vents (you can hear the water boiling up underneath the steam room building) and no tour buses, perfect.
